I must be going through a grumpy phase knowing I have very little chance of producing any half decent images of my own.

No worries Norman. It just takes a lot of time and practice. Patience and perseverance will pay off. Shoot, edit, post, repeat.

I really don't understand what all the commotion is about regarding this image, it is a beautifully rendered black and white image, take it at face value and learn to enjoy it.
