@John King I too have always had good service from WYC, the only problem I've had in the past is that their web pages usually lag behind their actual stock - such is their fast turnover, a phone call is the best bet.

which autofocus 35mm camera?

Out of curiosity I went back to MPB to make a complaint and to my surprise, this time I was able to get to the purchase page for the advertised £67 plus postage - I wonder if someone at the company saw my post. No matter, if you want one Alan they are there at £67 plus postage.

There are many autofocus 35mm cameras on the market, but some of the best options include the Canon EOS Rebel T7, Nikon FM10 and Pentax K1000.

An update - I was thinking of buying a Canon 50mm lens, following recommendations here. Then a member of this forum very kindly lent me one. It was only then that I realised the lens didn't have hyperfocal settings - something I pretty much use and rely on all the time, without thinking about it. So I didn't really get on with the lens, and decided to stick with my OM1. Without the forum member's kind act, I might well have bought a lens that didn't suit me.

F100 cameras are fetching silly money these days, 18 months ago you could pick up a quite decent one for around £120 now you would have to find £225+. I would say they are closer to an F6 than an F4, with two command dials so they will take the later lenses without an aperture ring. Not so well built as the F6 (obviously) with the back door having a reputation of being a bit on the flimsy side and the catches break and cannot be repaired (easily) and new ones are not made plus, and 2nd hand doors are virtually unobtainable.
The FM10 was not made by Nikon just a badge engineered Cosina and the build quality shows. The only affinity it has with Nikon is it has the Nikon F mount so should be able to take any Nikon lens from the AI versions.
I am surprised however that Nikon ever sanctioned the use of it's name on the body.

I will go along with joanna on this one. We have just launched a new forum for the BMW club and have been hit about 70 times with bogus registration in a similar vein, most of them from eastern Europe (Russia, Ukraine, Bulgariab with a few from elsewhere (America, India Indonesia, China etc etc. Fortunately we have measures in place where they cannot post until myself or the moderators can check their authenticity. If the fail they are automatically deleted.
There are a couple of new members whose narrative style seems to be AI generated.
