Really good, this. Must take a deal of technical skill and experience to achieve this quality.
Vis a vis Westclox, many decades ago I was a watchmaker (left it in my thirties) and our workshop wouldn't touch them. We considered them below our level of skill! Snooty lot.

That's nice Ian. The subject fits the treatment beautifully. The clock looks to be quite old. Is it of UK (Scottish) manufacture or one of the original US made clocks? From what I read on Wiki', Westclocks were known for bringing out the first design with an internal bell just before WWII which suggests that this might be and older design.
Very nice image and an engaging process, the subject lends itself well to the approach, it could be a bygone advert. Trying paper negatives is on my New Year resolution list!
