Waiting for the Whistle (North Yorkshire Railway).

Good capture, but there are some digital processing anomalies that make my yes go a bit funny.
You're right Toby. It's an old image that I played with before posting and struggled. I have gone back to the original and I think the problem at the time was steam. I don't mind billowing steam but this was like a fog and whatever I did in trying to eliminate it, I've given the image an artificial feel. Taken a different approach this time and used the Camera RAW dehaze filter. It's a bit better better. What do you think?

Thanks all for the feedback.
I like taking candid occupational portraits. I suppose it's a form of street photography. I need to work up the nerve to ask though.

I really like this, I love trains as well.
But me being newish to photography i can only attempt to get some shots as good as this.
Well done

Oh, I know what you mean. I would love to do candid street photography but I just don't have the nerve. I am too worried that the person or persons I photograph might make a fuss.
