Just over two years ago, the main route through St-Michel-en-Grève was closed for major road works. This meant that the main D786 which connects Plestin-les-Grèves to Lannion was blocked and, thus a diversion had to be found via back roads and byways.
We found a somewhat circuitous, but relatively short, route, which passed a small wood on a hill, which we thought had photographic possibilities. Of course, finding the right time of day, weather and view point wasn't easy and, even then, some of the trees were damaged in one of the winter's storms.
Anyhow, after at least two years, we finally looked up at the sky over our house today and realised it might be just as good as it was likely to get. So we jumped in the car and went to our chosen view point.

I think our patience was rewarded
