The Dilettante

I like the way each of the characters is portrayed as having an interest in viewing what I assume is an exhibition of monochrome prints. I wonder what is holding the main character's attention and wonder whether the woman on the right is looking at the same picture or a different one. I like this photograph very much indeed.

it has potential but I think the very light top draws the eye too much. Not sure if a grad would help but maybe try to see?
 
I''m most interested in the man and the woman facing in the same direction some distance apart. The folks behind the man, in the foreground, distract me. The man in the foreground seems to have something going on "down under." This and his distance to the women, both looking in the same direction, suggests something to me. I realize this is very subjective. ... my two centavos.
