Testing a Texpan

With it being so wet the last week or so, I am trying to think of things to do with my photography, I read an article about using 35mm film in Fuji GWS690 to get panoramic shots, so being bored over the xmas and new year I thought I would give it a go.
I have a 3d printer and found the film reel spool spacers online and printed them, I then measured and designed a 35mm pano mask to fit in the camera and printed this out.

I bulk load some of my 35mm film so had some film carts ready for the job, below are the picture of what the setup looks like.
You may notice I have wound some self amalgamating tape over the spool at the bottom of the mask image, this is to grip the film so that it cock's the shutter.
I just now need some fine weather to test it out.

Well I finally got to test this out but not for me, it was a bit of fun, but its hard to keep what you want in the image in the center of the view finder, not knowing exactly what the frame is. Also as you use the shots up it get very stiff to wind on, and puts quite a lot of strain on the mechanisim. Maybe with some tweaks I could fix this but to me not worth the hassle. I got 13 images off a roll of 36 and these are the best of a bad bunch.
