John, I can see why you are having problems with the last one, I focussed on the rocks but the reflection in the water is out of focus. I have always quite liked it, but other people do seem to have a problem trying to work out what it's about.
Yes, I used a tripod. I think the waterfall was taken at 1/4 second. I don't like very long exposures of moving water, where everything turns to milk. At 1/4 second you get water movement, but also a bit of the structure.
