Giant Gunnera. That cottage looks really pretty, what a wonderful location. I like the new barn conversion just up the hill too, with the glass end wall. Poor old St. Just seems to be heaving itself into a destination, of sorts. These bring back fond memories of past trips there, the channels cut in the sand by the stream are never the same. Our most recent stay was in a cottage just past the giant 'spikey rhubarb' plants on the road back up to St Just from Porth Nanven. Being able walk down to the shore in 10 mins was great.
We did pass that barn conversion when it was for sale, we dreamed for but a moment ....I like the new barn conversion just up the hill too, with the glass end wall. Poor old St. Just seems to be heaving itself into a destination, of sorts.
I think there's a whole generation who believe a camera is something that comes with a phone. My grown up children still don't understand why you need a 'proper' camera. "what's the point ?". You need to buy the film, load it in, get it developed and scanned and then you can upload it onto insta like two weeks later - there's a filter that make your photo's look old on your phone.... Maybe when they are sorting through my stuff in the future they'll be inquisitive enough to give it a go. Meanwhile they need to focus on getting a 'proper' job.I wonder if there will be a time when no one uses proper cameras.
