At the main gate of the Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Neuwiller lès Saverne (northern Alsace, France).
This Benedictine abbey was founded in the 8th century. Multiple additions and alterations were made until the 18th century.
The entire village is beautiful and well worth a visit. From February to August, you can see dozens of storks there.

Tonally quite nice despite the apparently slightly thin light and washed-out sky. Personally I'm not keen on the ultra wide angle leaning over of buildings, I noticed this particularly when I looked at it on my phone screen this morning, it doesn't seem quite so awkward on my desktop.

Thank you for your comment. I'm really enjoying playing around with 16mm film at the moment. I'm sure I'll get over it after a while.

This has an interesting dynamic Hans but mainly I like the low key presentation. It suits the architecture. Dare I say that even the discarded Christmas tree gives it a sense of time.
