I'm looking at getting a better monitor...the one i use is a Dell 27" 1080p
I've been looking at BenQ and am looking at this one....
Although i do have 6gig graphics i have read that even that won't be good enough to run a 4K screen very well?!

Don't know anything about Ben Q monitor's, however I had an Eizo which works well on a standard windows machine. This was before I switched to Mac though...

I have a Benq.

Seems ok, but nothing to compare it with.

Benq has some kind of link with ?irite such that there is benq/irite software that you can use calibrate the screen automatically.

I recall Martin saying he had a screen with a monitor built in.

Yes that's right but i do have the i1 studio

Yep - I wasn't near my pc - I actually have an xrite i1 Display calibrator that works jointly with benq software

It is a long time (in computer terms) since I had to replace my monitor and opted for a AOC which seemed to be a good compromise between size (28"), contrast range and price. I cannot remember what I paid for it, but if I had to replace it, size would be a factor above cost. I does all I need - for the moment.
I am loathe to change it for changes sake, because it calibrates exactly to the profile with my printer. Why make more work for myself?
