Night Shots #2

luv the first one, a damp misty night in Otley. Brrr, been there done that - but never taken a photograph.
I really like the first one. The second seems odd to my eyes; there seems a lot of blur in the higher branches of the trees. At first I thought it was from a lens that is "soft at the edges" wide open, but the bottom of the tree trunk appears sharp and is just as near the edge. Motion blur perhaps? Or is this the "effect" that @JustDave mentioned?
Because it was a night shot and I was using film at 400iso the exposure was 2 minutes, that is what the motion blur was caused by Chris

You can feel the damp mist in number 1!

Ah, I hadn't thought about the very long exposures needed (d'uh)! Either way, I don't think it helps the shot. I wonder how it would look if you cropped off the top quarter? I wondered about a square crop of the bottom left area, but the space to the right seems important for some reason!
