I'd be very interested to read any opinions of the image below, taken in Liverpool a few days ago. I quite like the composition, but wished the graffiti on the wall had been a bit more prominent.

I am sure that you could pull more out of this by building the contrast Glyn.

If it was a digital capture then try the colour channel that represents the graffiti colour and accentuate in conversion to mono, if you did this on a copied layer you can then paint in selectively

Toby, you're probably right. I tend to be very conservative when adjusting contrast but I'll give it a try.
Martin, I'll try tweaking the colour channels as you suggest - maybe increase the redness of the brick?

what I try is playing with the (colour)mono conversion sliders-that usually brings it out more either in Lightroom of photoshop
