Monitor replacement

My current BenQ monitor is old technology and does not support colour calibration - it is ~ 9 years old.

In looking at reviews to help me choose a new one, most reviews seem to be about 8 months old or more. The two most recent ones I found are:

https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/buying-guides/best-monitors-for-photographers , and

Needless to say, they don't come to the same conclusion.

Anybody got any views on best procedure/reviewers to help in choosing a new monitor that is primarily for photography?

I can recommend the ASUS Pro Art. It's a nice piece of kit and is self calibrating.

Thanks Johnny - self calibration sounds good.

Is that the monitor you have?

Yes it is. I eventually stopped using my calibrator because the screen never seemed to need adjustment. I've had mine for about 5 years and it's still going strong.
