Menchhoffen, a small village in Alsace

Menchoffen is a small traditional village in northwestern Alsace. It features half-timbered houses and numerous stork nests.

The main street. If you look closely (and not on a smartphone), you will see that some storks have already returned.


The village's communal soccer field. The inscription on the sign translates as: “Be sportsmanlike, respect the referee.”

Have you used an Orton effect in the first, Hans, there seems to be a certain blurry glow? Lowering skies in the other two, though I sense some haloing.

Nice captures Hans. Perhaps a little heavy in the shadows for me but that's my taste. Do the Storks affect the TV signal.
