Occasionally, Japanese art is raised on here.

Here is a short video I came across that seems (to me) to be conceptual without being so vague and waffle as to be useless.

It says it is the blurb that it is the first in a series but I haven’t watched any of the others

 
Oddly familiar from Chinese taoism where negative space around an object is considered as important as the object itself. There's a poem in the Tao de Ching which reads partly (in Ursula Le Guin's translation):

... Hollowed out
Clay makes a pot
Where the pot's not
is where its useful ...

Or Bruce Lee's "be like water"
