What This Plugin Does​

Camera & Lens EXIF Editor writes EXIF and XMP metadata that Lightroom won’t touch. Your changes write directly to the file’s headers. Lightroom reads them instantly.

What you can edit:

• Camera Make & Model – Correct the camera EXIF that Lightroom locks
• Lens Information – Add or update lens data (especially useful for DSLR film scanning)
• Copyright & Creator – Batch-assign copyright metadata across multiple files
• Notes & Comments – Add user comments to file EXIF headers

Supported formats: DNG, TIFF, JPEG (all write consistently), No external dependencies

I'm now a happy user of this plug-in, which will save me a lot of time in recording the details of the original film camera, lens, and film used to create a film negative (rather than the scanner or digital camera used to scan the negative).

I had an intitial configuration problem but Ian was very hepful in talking me through the changes needed.
