Leaving Le Diben

Was out yesterday at Le Diben, a fishing port near where I live. It was a strange day with a strong westerly wind, bright sunshine over the land, but a sea fog on the coast. It made for some interesting lighting. Helpfully this old boy and his grandson came along in his clinker built boat which is so much nicer looking than white fibreglass. The boat was bouncing around quite a bit in the choppy sea so I thought I had the makings of a photo. Anyway, here it is.

In my opinion you really have the "makings of a photo" I think it wonderful.
Looks like a very rough sea to be out in an older wooden boat.
Still he may have done this all his life and knows what he is doing.
Good shot, I like it.

This is is very evocative. Not easy to show a strong westerly in a still image but the way you have captured the boat does so nicely. The receding BG is just right as well and to cap it all, I love wooden boats. Love it.
