Lapwings

These became a bit of a challenge. They are so acrobatic in the air that following them with a long lens proved beyond me. The only
way I managed to capture them was to to zoom back a bit and rely on a crop in post.

I too like these, it shows motion as well in the wings. I see what you mean re the glasses Glenn.

Thanks both. Never noticed the specs before. Not sure whether that's the lens or the post processing.

I like the shapes you have captured of the birds the first one looks great like he/she is going to put one on you.....

Thanks Steve. I think it was a "He". Mum was on the ground rounding up her chicks and dad was flying around to distract me.
