It's a Rip Off

I have been on line to buy a full set of ink cartridges for my Canon Pro-300 printer and I came across a company called Cartridge Discount which I have never used before. The are hinting at being a discount outlet to which I emphasise is total RUBBISH! For a full set of Genuine Canon Cartridges from Canon is around £160 or thereabouts. My usual place I buy them from is called the Cartridge People based I think in Cheshire Is actually £134.20 for genuine Canon. But these people are selling non genuine Canon ones singly. (They don't have full sets) but for 10 of all the colours is over £240. That is what was quoted and I was not just looking at their web pages. I wonder what planet they are on?

Consumers Association (Which? Magazine) regularly reviews printer ink suppliers, focussing on third party ink.

Here are their current recommendations

I have learned the hard way about aftermarket inks/dyes - don't use them especially when they are dearer than the original. My Canon Pro 300, if you leave it for 2-3 days without use, has an automatic agitate state to stir the inks up and each the genuine Canon cartridges has a ball bearing in to assist this. Aftermarket ones don't.

It has never let me down in the 3-4 years I owned if and that is the state I want it to remain in.
