I think this is a terrific picture Linda, light, lines and shadows in abundance and all working together imho with the trucks and big sky giving a great sense of scale. So much bridge for so little traffic eh. I'm impressed with the bridge design, did you get a shot of the full structure by any chance?
This is almost like an abstract on a large scale a very interesting image.

Thank you all so much! I'm delighted you enjoyed. Here is a wider view for Keith. I might have exaggerated a bit regarding lack of traffic (though you still can't see any - lol) as this is a divided 4-lane highway that runs from central Washington State into Oregon (143 miles). This bridge spans a huge gorge just north of where I live, and slopes downhill as you come into the populated areas. Central and eastern Washington and Oregon are in the rain shadow of the Cascade Mountains, and semi-arid, desert like. Not what most think of when you mention Pacific Northwest USA
