Growing hops is extremely labor-intensive. In early spring, workers must tie twine from the ground up to overhead wires, so that hops vines can climb them. Here I tried to show the daunting task.

Thanks so much, Martin! This was originally vertical 3:2 aspect, with just a slight crop. Today was the first time it occurred to me to try a more extreme crop, and I'm pleased with it. And thank you for the technical assistance. This site is actually fairly easy to navigate so far

My sort of image. Just love the graphic quality and your crop has achieved a very satisfying composition. It even has the classic three figures.
I wonder if you could increase the impact by a bit of vignetting to draw attention to the tractor and the person putting up the strings.
Amazing cross lateral and horizontal organized confusion, its quite an impact study-- anymore clarity and detail would reduce the confusion. --Super picture Linda,

I knew I wanted to catch hops workers in action when I went out early that morning to the farming areas, but having the 3 in nearly perfect position + the backlighting for silhouette were more "right time, right place" than careful planning
