We went walking and busing around Gran Canaria in February for a few weeks to escape the cold weather here. It was quite an interesting place to visit some beautiful mountains and beaches - here is one I took of sand dunes - not normally my thing but I quite like the simplicity of it.

I couldn't tell you why, but I like that Steve. Composition is spot on and the negative space adds to rather than unbalances the image. So I guess I have just told you why after-all. :cool:

Thanks John, I know what you mean, there is not much to it. Less is more I guess.:)
 
This was a view from a place we stayed in central Gran Canaria. Looks a tad pixelated but then it is a tiny file.....

Broody and dramatic without feeling over-processed. I would have been happy to have made this one.
 
Thanks Glenn, Helen and Toby. I’m glad you like them I have a few more to post from that trip. Shooting a lot of Infrared and Street stuff at the moment….
 
Nice images. I thought I saw middle earth in the second pic.
Also there was a cloudy chick (overdeveloped eye) developing in the sky :)

Thanks Pex yes it's a bit like that, nothing wrong with a good imagination.:)
