Being mainly a traditional wet fingers in the dish type of printer, the bleached out parts can usually be brought back from the brink with a bit of burning in, and if you use a PS programme or something like it there is usually a burning in tool that will do it without having a towel handy to dry your fingers afterwards. Taking it as it is I like all 3 three of them for different reasons but more work needs to be done with the sky tones especially just above the horizon
But I do like places like this for landscapes. About 3 years ago I went onto the moors between Blanchland and Consett where there is a deserted farmhouse which is remarkably intact, and I have been threatening myself with a walk over there from the road as soon as can make it again and see if I can improve on what I already photographed.
The weather wasn't particularly kind and I should have taken a tripod, 'cos of the wind. I would have loved to have been able to go inside but the upper floors had collapsed and hidden part of a magnificent Royal Blue glazed mosaic floor in the front hallway. There just has to be more there worth looking at.
