Earlier this week, with my IR camera in hand, I spent some time exploring the Nokiidaa Trail in Newmarket/East Gwillimbury.

Scattered along the river, I found concrete structures, vestiges of a canal system of the early 19th century. The canal was to link Lake Simcoe to Lake Ontario. The construction of the canal began in 1906 but by the end of WWI, the project was abandoned and all that's left today are these deteriorating concrete monuments.

I am not sure that these type of subject suit the IR look, I feel there lacking in the impact that IR can produce with the right type of subjects.

It’s just a personal opinion, so take what I say with a pinch of salt Steven

I agree to disagree, Martin. I think any subject could suit the IR application if the processing is done right. Of the 3 posted here, I think 2 of them are okay. Keep in mind, I was only trying to document the discovery of these structures, not really trying to be artistic. And the fact that I only had my IR camera with me at the time, really limited me.
