Comparison of coloured filters in DxO FilmPack

I just thought it might be interesting to post a couple of versions of a colour digital image, converted to B&W and then choosing from the "filters" that DxO FilmPack provides.

First the colour original after basic processing:


Now just converted to Fuji Acros 100:


Now with a blue filter:


And finally with a red filter:


Of course, you could always use the channel mixer but I just wanted to show a basic, simple to achieve, example of what colour filters can do to B&W images.

Yes colour adjustments in mono offer all sorts of options: apart from the adjustments in the BandWpanels of LR or PS you can apply colour filters in all sorts of ways, including plug ins like Nik but one thing I ding very helpful especially at the end of edits when a little something more is needed is the colour temperature slider.
