I shot this in 2008 in Vancouver, Canada. Originally, it was the high-scalloped cloudiness that drew me to this scene. But then I realized I could have both of these gems in my shot. I hope someone has fixed up the exterior of this classic Art Deco theatre, it was falling apart when I shot this.
Funny thing about Newfoundland, you see a lot of white picket fences that never seem to go anywhere.
This one taken in the small fishing commumity of Torbay, Newfoundland, Canada
A small island in the middle of a a small lake called Carlyle Lake.
Shot on my trip to Killarney Provincial Park, October 2019, Canada. Shot on a cool misty, rainy day. Just like today if you live where I live.

Shot a few years ago in Coombs, British Columbia, Canada. A charming country market with goats that live on the roof of its store. A huge tourist attraction for such a small town. Out of the six or so goats, only one was cooperating with me.
Shot yesterday on the property of Lake Seneca in King Township, Ontario, Canada. Without a tripod, it was a challenge getting all the exposures (especially for the sky) needed to blend this image in PS. I'll know better next time.
I took this photo yesterday evening in my backyard before the sun dipped below the horizon. The setting sun lit up the boughs of these magnificent fir trees behind my house in scintillating fashion. I had to ask myself, why had I never paid attention to this light show before? Shame on me.
Is...
This large clump of fir trees is the view I have when I look outside the back of my house. I’ve watched and enjoyed this view for many years and finally decided to photograph it.
The tree in the middle is positioned perfectly. Like a sundial, one half of the tree is lit up as the sun begins to...
