If anyone has either Photoshop AI or anything equally powerful to retrieve the registration plate number from a motorbike that dangerously undertook my son whilst on a driving lesson it would be much apprecciated.
I have the video from dashcam and I can provide a screen shot from it but the clarity isn't great and I'd very much like to send it to the Police.

Thanks.

Actually getting a 3rd party such as someone from the forum is very definitely not the best way to go. It all revolves around continuation of the train of evidence and proof that the 3rd party such as someone who stepped up to enhance the image and did not compromise the evidence in the process. An enhanced screen shot would NOT be admissible as evidence! Only an image taken from the original would be acceptable as evidence.

If you intend to make a formal complaint to the police, what might happen is your son and whoever was with him would have to provide a statement and whoever is/was responsible for the camera in the car and handing over the memory card to the police will also have to provide statements.
If it is considered serious enough to consider prosecution, the card would be submitted for the image and the full incident to be analysed on accredited equipment that will make an electronic record of the process and steps taken to recover and enhance the registration number. ONLY that would be guaranteed to be admissible.

Take the card personally directly to the police, the sooner the better. In certain circumstances there may be a time limit

Thanks John but it's a bit late he's recorded over it during his further driving lessons.
Never mind, karma will catch up with him eventually.

Pity!
I ride a motorbike and have done for many years for work and pleasure, and have seen the progression of poor driving/riding to down right dangerous. This is despite they have to set written tests and have to have lessons before they get on one and kill themselves - or become proficient. I wonder how many actually think of having a bit of advanced training?

well he's a young-ish chap, still got L plates on, and I saw him the other day making equally stupid manouveres around moving traffic.
Stil, there's a healthy demand for young organs so he might contribute something to society one day.
