The price of silver has dropped on the world markets a week ago and again yesterday**, and as silver is the principal constituent of photographic light sensitive film and papers. If this continues at it present level of a 20-30 % drop in price a week gone Friday and a further 2-3% drop yesterday are we likely to see a drop in the prices of materials in the shops?

**Apparently triggered by shenanigans on the American markets? It is not showing any firm return to it original prices with the long term drop even further. (American Bank J P Morgan)

If the manufacturers lower the price, it's possible but I wouldn't hold your breath
