John, thank you for your kind words. It may be slightly out of focus but still a lovely image. It just demonstrates what can be done with film. Try doing that if your Digital sensor packs up!
You get a lot of atmosphere into your photographs which I like.
Something you might want to consider is to change the crop. For me, the main subject is a little too central, I don't know whether I am looking at the left wall or the right wall or the tower, so I would be tempted to shorten the wall on the left which also pulls the tower to the left. In these eyes it would balance the composition better.
Use or lose.

Another very sharp photograph but a little grainy which will of course be out of your control. What type/make of film is there available where you live?
I have just looked on Google maps and the castle is some kilometres south east of Moscow is that the correct place? The pictures accompanying the map results show it to be a very big structure indeed.
I think you are being very polite. If Glenn cropped one of my photographs unasked, and posted it online, I wouldn't be very happy. In any case, I much prefer your original version to Glenn's cropped one.Glenn, thank you for your critical insight; it's very valuable to me.
I think your idea about framing is very relevant and sound. I hadn't thought about it at the time.
Thanks again for the valuable advice!

No I don't think you are out on a limb Glenn. Nobody else seems to object. Don't take any notice of me.Just trying to offer options Alan but happy to desist if I am out on a limb here.

I also really like that image but don’t fancy developing my own shots anymore. I think I’m just lazyI have the exact same Voigtlander Bergheil 6.5 x 9 camera as Martin and the exact same lens. I bought it in 1994 at a flea market in a pile of junk. I put it in a cupboard and forgot about it. In 2019, when moving house I found this camera and decided to revive it.
Since then, I have been shooting regularly with this camera. I was very excited by Martin's YouTube video of him talking about this camera.
Here is an example of a shot taken with my Voigtlander Bergheil. I have been watching the images of Belgian photographer Leonard Mizonne and was inspired by the work of this Master.
Thank you for your attention to my image.I also really like that image but don’t fancy developing my own shots anymore. I think I’m just lazy
John, thanks for your words of encouragement.I like that Yury simply because of the contrast between the angular windows and the sweeping curve of the ramp.
