You'll Stay Like That

Crikey, I thought my monitor had turned into a mirror! Looks like they've got some seriously big woodworm. ;) Some nice tones in the timber.

This is a very interesting image! I love the composition and depth of field, plus the details. Unique, fun, scary :)

It does make an interesting image Tim and you have maintained super tones and I also love your composition.

Indeed, DOF is well framed and nice tones.

The Brits and the French seemed to spend the Middle Ages trying to out-gargoyle each other. I never thought it terribly Christian, but then I'm not Christian. If you look at churches like Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle, the gargoyles are of sinners in purgatory and various nasty beasts they were likely to encounter there. I get that message. But pulling faces like the above? Where did it all go wrong?

Thankyou StevenS, the out of focus carvings in the background are surely grotesque beasts from purgatory, they adorned all the pews, I find them quite fascinating, not forgetting the incredible craftsmanship involved.

Tim
