Shot on a wet day about 35 years ago using my Mamiya 330, 135mm lens, probably F11 1/15, Fuji Neopan 400, Rodinal 1:50.

I never liked using that camera (or any twin lens reflex for that matter) even with the Porrofinder I found it difficult to use - obviously just not suited to the way I like to shoot! I was mainly attracted to the big neg and leaf shutter.

Scanned on my phone using my converted enlarger - the low res image looks a tad soft here - but the original scan is sharp (honest gov!)

I've seen these before!

Very nice, I like them. You get a real sense of power from the straight movement blur in that water.
Thanks Toby, yes, very similar, the old ones posted were shot on my FE2 using a a 35mm lens on the same day - these were my medium format foray (not as enjoyable). The water did have real power, fabulous noise….

Waterfalls are powerful but what immediately strikes me in these is the beauty of the black rocks. You have managed to bring out the wetness perfectly. They wouldn't have had the same impact if they were just dull. Nice captures.

Thanks John, yes the black rocks are very appealing to me as well.
When I printed this all those years ago it I found it difficult to get the contrast as I wanted - I had to split contrast the print using multi-contrast paper to get it right (after several attempts)...much easier now just scanning the neg with my phone and digitally tweaking as required....
