Using refridgerated film

Just wondering how long people leave refrigerated film to come up to ambient temperature before opening the packet? Thoughts anyone.

I always left mine overnight in the sealed plastic container just to be sure (although for me they came out of the freezer)

Overnight sounds reasonable.
