The Motley Crew

What a motley looking group of square bashers they could put Dad's Army into the shade. Nice sharp and contrasty image including the camp follower underneath the arch.

Thanks Norman. I must admit that in retrospect I would rather have used a larger aperture to get a shallower depth of field and throw the background out of focus, but this was typically a grab shot.
I'm pleased with the sharpness considering that this is represents only about 20% of the original image. I only had a 35mm lens with me at the time and couldn't get very close, so a big crop was called for.
 
As Norman says,a nice sharp study, and I think Captain Mainwaring in the middle has clocked you :)
