The Mormon Barns, Grand Teton Np

The composition is the problem for me Hali, I sense a fabulous sky and a grab shot, rather than a considered compo. It leaves you with a rather muddled, fussy picture and no place for the eye to settle. There are some rather harsh blacks, and lost whites too.
 
Hali, I am impressed by what can be achieved by IR photography and the problem I have with this image is that I cannot connect the image with the title. I can see the storm clouds and I can see the rain but I am not sure where the river is. Would you consider cropping about 1/3rd off the left and crop some from the bottom to balance so that the focus is more on the storm?

Hahaha, I think I started the thread with one image in mind to post then changed it.

I understand what you are saying about the blown whites and muddled blacks, I'll spend some time reworking and cropping and see if I can fix these problems and come to a better composition, it's how I learn.
