Street Musicians

Love these, Neil. The first, a very dynamic composition with the two faces and the V of the saxes. The second, just a great face well captured. Tiny bit of halo on the left hand shoulder of the second?

Any shot details?
 
They were taken a few years back so I can only tell you the gear that was used, a Nikon D3s with the Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, probably converted to b&w using Nik Silver EfexPro.
 
Wonderful set Neil, The guy in the background almost demands as much attention as the main subject, and the hand in No 2 really tells a big story, I want him to wrap it around the key board and get some African Blues drifting across the picture,

These are fabulous. I prefer the second one, a cracker. If in the first one there was more depth of field and his hands were in the focal plane as well as his face, would it be better or too busy? We'll never know.
