Don't understand why this hasn't received any comments Mike. I think it's a very good portrait with excellent tonality throughout and a good use of the negative space. I don't know if you've done much portrait work before but, well done either way. Was this set up at a club or grabbed at a steampunk gathering?
Thanks Steve. I've actually sent a PM to admin because this post and subsequent 'trial' edits didn't appear in the 'New Posts' search and I wondered if there is a bug in the system.
We had some Steam Punk models at Camera Club last Friday although this particular shot is a candid taken over the heads of other members whilst the model was being posed in front of a continuous lighting setup.
Processing was done in Colour Effects Pro and then desaturated before a few final tweaks in LR. It actually looks a lot better in a lightbox than in this post. You can clearly see the left arm and body shape for instance. And yes, I'm out of my comfort zone here.
