I took this in the spring but have only just decided to try it as monochrome.
The BG was much more distracting than you see and the only way the worked as best i could do was to reduce the contrast and that seem to affect the main subject too much.

Very nice image, i like this sort of thing. The out of focus area is so lovely and gives a good sense of depth

Just printed this one out on Pinnacle premium silk baryta 310.....what a wonderful finish, sharp good tones and screen to print....'result'!
