Robin Hoods Bay Pinhole

I'm a bit mystified by this, Ian, the choice of subject seems a bit random - a bit of road, some GPO cables and the backs of some houses - and it doesn't seem very sharp?

subject seems a bit random
I guess its just a document photograph looking down into Robin Hoods Bay Residential area

and it doesn't seem very sharp?
Pinhole photography by the nature of it isn't very sharp due to the camera not having a conventional lens
(As this is physical print taken with a phone, maybe there is some hand shake)

I do think that the best way to display prints on the Web is to scan the (physical) wet print and bring it into the digital arena for uploading. Not at all convinced by the phone shot of the wet print. Lots of analogue photographers are doing this on Instagram, and something gets lost.

when I saw this on bookface it had more impact which I suspect is due to seeing it smaller there and where the overall composition is more evident ( on this small screen at any rate) but on this forum it loses something.

I think on FB it appears stronger because there is an impression of slightly higher contrast on FB than on here.

{only 'appears ' was supposed to be italics above but I can't get it to cancel italics on the rest of the sentence for some reason so shoot the browser not me!}
