Reflecting/The mirror of Dorian Gray

I've had another go at implementing my idea - not sure that this one works either as it probably isn't obvious that I really am looking into a mirror.

First attempt at:

Regarding processing, the 'then' face was very bright and rather flat. Creating shadows similar to the real ones (on the 'now' image as taken) is really beyond me. But it's good enough for my purposes (club competition that is just for fun).

I thought it worth posting as I still like the idea and someone else may be able to use or develop the idea .

For me, the title of an image often adds. Do this may be a good example of that.

I found it impossible to make it obvious that it is s mirror

I think the face looks separate from the rest of the image, a little to obvious

Yes, I still like the idea but actually implementing it is (currently) beyond me.

I have seen various references to matching together different parts of a composite but it's not something I have ever seriously looked into.

One day it might become a priority for me ( but then again .......)
