Nikon F - Light seals

I took delivery of a 1969 Nikon F yesterday bought from a well known auction site.

All seems well except the mirror bumper has perished. Thought I'd ask if anybody had tried to replace these themselves? If so, is there a favoured supplier of replacement parts and perhaps a decent set of instructions?

Not sure if the Nikon F and the Nikon F2 share the same body, Nik and Trick sell ready cut seals for the F2, perhaps give them a ring if your not sure
