Hi.... Just joined this forum after searching specifically for Black and White photography site (there don't seem to be many). Not sure exactly why but I find there's something about black and white photography if done right that captures moods and emotions better than most colour images.

I was a keen amateur photographer but lost my photography mojo over the last couple of years, so much of what I post at first won't be taken very recently, but I think I'm getting my interest back again and joining a new site will give me another little push, especially with it being focused (no pun intended) on monochrome.

Hi Dean Yes, I am from Leeds and used to be a member of The Pudsey camera Club. I don`t get out much now a days as I used to do.

Pleasantly surprised to find so many members from so close by (even including the dodgy side of the pennines Bill).
You'll probably recognise many of the locations of the images I post then as most of my photographs are based in and around Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire.
