I like the emotion of this picture. What it says about all of our vulnerabilities. I also like how he's situated just below all of the circular and vertical railing, also his shadow.
I think more can be done with it to bring out the dimensions of his surroundings. (But then, I've spent the entire winter here, woodsheding about "tonality."
Thank you both. José I don't really alter tones as such. Other than a bit of dodging/burning/contrast and a crop. Much as I did in the wet darkroom - allowing for the difference between my brain's interpretation and the film. Now my brain and the sensor.
