Little Egret

Lovely captured motif. Did you use some HDR or sharpening tool? The plumage looks as if you did.
 
Jay, no HDR. Highlights were brought down in PS and I used the Texture filter in ACR to bring out some feather detail.

Joanna, I'm getting worried. The thought that it way too over sharpened suggests that there is something pretty obviously horrendous about the rendering - but I'm failing to see it.
