Lightroom no longer shows degrees Kelvin but a scale from 0 to 100

I don't use Lightroom much. I've manages to change a setting and can't see - despite internet searches - how to change back

Develop module looks like this:
1606755776244.png Temperature is 0 (as it is a scale)

Previously it showed degrees Kelvin and you (I) could change it to a specific value.

?anybody know how I change it back to show Kelvin please?

Here is a screenshot off internet showing how I want it to look - but they don't say how yoi get it:

1606756160749.png Temp is shown in degrees Kelvin = 3550 in this case

I want to merge a stack of images and they have different temperatures - so if there is a way of changing them all to the same one in one go then even better :)

So did mine Ian, but something has changed - I'll check what version I am using - maybe I have clicked a wrong icon or something.

Hmmmmmm - the image I was looking at had been in PS and imported back to LR - that seems to be the reason - so if I want to get a consistent temperature for all images I presumably need to standardise before any processing in PS.

Here is a totally unprocessed image in LR - it shows temperature

Just a thought ...

Kelvin only shows in RAW files. Jpg will show 0 -100 because the temp is already embedded in the jpg.

My guess is that you are looking at a NON RAW File

Once you have handed the Raw File off to Photoshop, what ever kelvin temperature you have set will be embedded in the file.

There is a work-around for this which is to open the RAW file as a Smart Object and then you can go back and forth to Camera Raw and adjust the temperature in Kelvin

Thanks Ian

As I discovered the problem on only the second image in a stack it will be easier for me to just start again. Smart objects are a topic of mystery to me.

I've made a note in my procedure note to set a common temperature when first in LR
