House With A While Picket Fence

Another IR image - and probably the last one I'll post - of my recent trip to Florida. Since returning home over a week and a half ago, I've been ailing with a miserable head cold that just doesn't want to go away. Here is another residential home in Boca Grande, on the south-west side of Florida.

:oops:yes, like this but - sorry - can't articulate why

?any particular reason for this perhaps being your last IR image, Steven?

Meant to say 'my last' IR image taken on my recent trip. Didn't really take too many worth posting.

Ahh, ok thanks for clarifying.

I think infrared is an acquired taste, and I haven't fully acquired it yet, and yours are the main ones that I see:)

Seems like Martin and I are the only ones engaging in IR photography.

I've never known what to make of IR as I'm a late comer to photography and have lots to learn about just making any picture. So I've not had much to say about IR as it's a whole other thing to me.
However, have been off the site for a bit and coming back to see as much as I can of what I've missed, looking from past-to-recent, I am very much appreciating how your IR pictures capture places and bring out an otherwise hidden, to 'me', dimension. What I'm identifying as "surreal" for lack of another term.

I tried it extensively with film and never really carried on after a while.
It is quite hard to make a image that isn't just an IR scene of something ordibnary. i.e.e for me it has to be of more interest t than simply because it is IR
So some I like some I don't

I also feel that way for that reason this image does not work as good as some of the other images Steven has posted, so I feel Simons post is quite valid.

Regards
Martin
