OK. I'll bite. (please don't take the following personally) Since when is digital photography not real photography?

All it needs is a real photographer who knows how to use the camera. And there is the problem. So many photographers sit back and let the camera take over instead of taking the same control as they had with film cameras.
I have a Nikon D850, which is set to all manual mode, spot metering and back button focusing.
The only time that digital wins hands down is with high ISO that you could never find film to do. But, in order to get the best results, you need to have an intimate knowledge of exposure control and placement and post processing techniques to optimise the RAW files, just like you need to do with the zone system to over-expose, under-develop, print using multi-grade filters, etc.
The art of photography is not in film vs digital, it is in the eye, heart and soul of the photographer. A good photographer can make an award winning shot with an iPhone or an LF film camera - they're both just boxes with a hole on the front and a means of recording the image.
In addition to the excellent analogue work you will find here, you will also find some equally astounding digital work, but do be aware that this is not solely a film forum.
Nonetheless, as an LF film photographer as well, let me welcome you and look forwards to seeing your work.
