Her Indoors

Heavens. My grandmother would have said 'her puddings are boiling over, dear'.

Is her eye makeup mismatched, is the processing a bit heavy, or is this a file compression quirk?

I think my main problem with this is the rather jumbled and messy background.
 
Yes, a lot of potential but she needs a lot of working on (if you know what I mean..)

actually I think this is a rather splendid shot> Loads of character in it. The thing that could have been improved more than anything IMO is the background blur, I would be a much better shot had a wider aperture been used or a longer lens
 
Thank you for your comments . The trip to Whitby will soon be here again. Watch this space. This year I shall use the 24mm 70mm Nikon lens. On my Nikon 800e camera. Last year I used the 70mmx 200mm lens .

Many thanks Digital Finger for your advice on using my lens at the 70mm wide open. If I see this young lady again. I shall attempt another image. It is all good fun!!!! Keep snapping ...
