I've just got a new laptop and I'm trying to set things up from scratch. Could someone remind me how to put the ColorPerfect plugin into the subscription based Photoshop. Do I download colorperfect, unzip it, look for the little file (8BF) and put it in
windows (C) - prog files (x86)- common files- adobe - plugins ?

Yes, but make sure you use the correct plugin file. There are 2 different ones depending on whether you using a display with high resolution

This second step details how to install the 64 bit version of ColorPerfect for Adobe Photoshop CS4 and later. Skip it for older versions of Adobe Photoshop. Navigate the Explorer window so it is showing C: again and double-click Program Files to open it. In Program Files also locate the folder Adobe and double-click that. Inside locate the folder for your version of Adobe Photoshop and double-click that to open it. Inside, locate the Plug-ins folder and double-click that to open it. If there is a Filters folder inside that, double-click Filters to open it (but don't worry if there isn't a Filters folder). Now drag the ColorPerfect64.8bf from the other Explorer window and drop it in the folder you have just opened. Confirm any security dialogs that might open.
Sorted now, thanks
Pete
