Ghost Grave

Not a great shot, and I hardly ever do Pinhole photography, but this one has some interest for me at least.

My wife did her Doctoral dissertation for her PhD on Dr. John Jamieson, who compiled the first dictionary of the Scots language in the early 19th century. This is his grave. My wife is actually in this shot, busying herself removing beer cans and junkie needles! It was taken on an anniversary of Jamieson's death, a few years ago. The sun circle just highlights the scene beautifully, I thought. My wife now writes dictionaries for Oxford University Press.

Taken with a Holga 35mm pinhole camera, which is not great, and otherwise a waste of a roll of XP2. I do have a Zero Image Deluxe somewhere in the house. I might dig it out.

Well it does have an eerie feel with a sense of ambiguity about it. There was some discussion a few weeks ago on the forum about the art of imperfection in images, this one certainly qualifies to be included in this genera. I like it.

Yes. Flares can be annoying, but this makes the picture for me. It was just a Holga 35mm pinhole - used only once. I have a Zero Image Deluxe one as well.

Yes, I agree it adds a mystery to a mystery image, get the Pinhole cracking again Rob, I am sure it wood suit your style of working especially some of the woodland scenes
